Hello again,

I am here to report that although the minutes are crawling by at a snails pace while we are in the hospital, we are hanging in there! Madeline has found a new interest in Lego sets which we work on in bits and pieces. It at least gives us a finished product at the end and a small sense of accomplishment.

Madeline has handled chemo and radiation pretty well so far. Getting hit with sedation every day is hard and it definitely takes her mood a number of hours to go back to some semblance of normal. Pray for her to stay positive and spunky. She is not herself right now. Thankfully our doctor is letting us go home both today and tomorrow for dinner. It feels like we are going to be breaking out of jail and we cannot wait!! We need this mood booster.

David is holding down the fort at home with Kaitlyn and Lilah. I am thankful to be married to one of the best, this truly takes a team effort. David and the girls have visited every day which has been good for everyone.  All three girls are obsessed with the therapy dog here. Her name is Munchkin and she is the most beautiful golden retriever. Their favorite activity so far is painting her toenails. 

That is all for now! We don’t have any big updates as we are now just following through with our established plan of treatment. We love you all, thank you for praying!
