Rader Family
Hello again,
I am happy to say that we continue to make progress and improvements each day! Madeline looks SO good. Although at times it feels a little crazy to have all three of our girls here with us, Kaitlyn and Lilah are indeed great motivation for Madeline. She is up moving and playing. She is off of IV pain meds and her catheter came out this morning so we were able to leave the floor today and venture outside. It is really nice to be able to explore and be in a different environment. We had lunch in the lobby and played a round of family bingo.
The earliest we will be home is Tuesday which would be great! The Ronald McDonald house has been a blessing to us but it will be nice to be back in our own home soon.
This is officially the strangest version of family bonding we have ever had in our lives. In the midst of a very scary and unpredictable diagnosis we have spent ALOT of time together. I think we will look back at this and remember more smiles and sweet bonding moments than tears and heartache. God does indeed have a way of using unfortunate situations for good. We are thankful to have glimpses of His goodness each and every day.
That is all for now. Enjoy these fun pictures as proof that we are truly doing very well.
We love you.
