We are into week 4, and it feels like time is flying.

Yesterday's chemo session was long and Madeline got three types of chemo, but we are handling the emotions of this round much better than a week ago. We are all back in good health physically which means our we were also able to go into Monday's appointment in a much better mental state.

Madeline came home yesterday and was as zippy as ever. She was biking, running, and scootering with no signs of the load of chemotherapy that had just been put into her small body. Today has been a bit more restful and she has been tired, cold, and just feeling a bit "yucky" as she would say. With that being said, she is not nauseous or miserable so we are grateful and are practicing being restful. Our big activity today was baking chocolate chip cookies for her teachers and David's coworkers. She adores her 3K teachers and misses them a ton so she is excited to deliver them a treat over their lunch hour tomorrow.

We are looking forward to some warmer weather and being outside as much as we can. Pray that her immune system stays strong and that she is full of energy! We love her spunk and zippiness even if it can be exhausting at times.Β

Hopefully this will be an uneventful week and you won't hear from me because we will be living out the mundane of the day to day with no surprises!Β

We love you all.

All good to hear. Love that you are bringing cookies to her Teacher. You are so good at thinking of thoughtful things to do with the girls! Sending love and prayers for Dear Madeline and all of you for comfort and courage:)
