It is a great day to be alive!
I have no earth shattering news today, but simply want to share with all of you that today has been a gift. Madeline woke up this morning with life in her eyes. She is still having some discomfort from her port and biopsy site but has not needed pain medicine today.
She is in real clothes for the first time since Monday and is smiling, laughing, and starting to play and do things for herself now that she "has two arms again." Her pain has decreased enough from her port for her to start moving her right side a bit. We are so thankful to be getting our girl back!
Monday will bring its own challenges with her next round of chemo and accessing a fresh port. So, I am asking you all to pray for comfort and minimal anxiety and side effects for Madeline in that process.
We love you!
