We’re continuing to work hard here at Sunny Hill! Presley is still showing up for every therapy session with so much courage and determination. She’s practicing standing using her full leg braces to help keep her alignment strong and get that stretch she needs.

Right now, she isn’t able to take steps independently yet, so she’s still in her wheelchair most of the time. But we’re building strength and confidence little by little. The goal for this next week is to start practicing with a walker and see if she can begin to support some of her weight in that way. Strengthening her quads and legs is our top priority — with the spasticity reduced from the surgery, it’s a new opportunity to help her muscles hold her up and find their power again.

It’s a long journey, but we’re taking it day by day. Presley’s bravery and your ongoing support are what keep us going.
