Scarlett has finished her second round of Chemotherapy and is doing great. Only concern is that the treatments suppress her appetite a little bit so we may need a feeding tube in the future if she ends up losing too much weight. We are hoping we can get creative and encourage eating as much as possible to avoid this. Any good protein toddler snack recommendations are welcome! Surgeon team wants to put her lung tube on "clamp" mode in a few weeks to see if her lung has healed. If within 24-48 hours she is not having difficulty breathing with her tube clamped they will remove "tubey." Scarlett will be becoming a big sister tomorrow, as I have a scheduled c-section in the morning we are fortunate to be able to plan the birth around her treatments. Thank you for all your continued support, thoughts, positive vibes, and prayers during this time. I also want to thank my husband's company Andersen Construction for helping support our family and ensuring Jeremy is present and able to be there for us. It has been a blessing to not have to stress about that aspect and have him by our sides throughout this process.
