Once I put down my pride and picked up the phone, people are relentlessly showing up. In unbelievably generous ways, in small gestures and in kind words. All of it equally meaningful. 

Since Ozzy was born I’ve doubted life could ever be as carefree or full as it was before. Two years in and I’m learning just how much Ozzy enhances my life. The medically complex stuff is for the birds but this living life in the moment, working towards self-determined success and uplifted by those who love you is what makes life so very worth living. 

Today, our amazing next door neighbors opened up their pool to us to escape the heat and Ozzy LOVED it. They insisted we come back whenever, whether they’re home or not. 

Then we came back, had dinner and danced. The @fireflybyleckey Upsee continues to be an incredible tool in our toolbox of inclusion. 

I’m feeling restored and recharged and ready to head into a week of therapy and health insurance battles! 

With the orbit of Ozzy on our side the lift feels doable.
