Ozzy is very attached to my husband, Lew. At many points in the last 2 years he was the only one he would eat for. Most of the time it’s because he was sick and is comforted by feeding with Lew the way a breastfeeding baby would be. Lew’s done ever single hospital stay post NICU I did 18 of the 19 nights in the NICU and then we quickly learned our strengths and weaknesses. Mine was/is not the hospital. There are zero accommodations for a kid like Oz and simply holding him is exhausting. We’re lucky Lew is a wrestler/rock climber with forearms for days. 

Anyway! Ozzy is back in that mood. Only eating for Lewis. He didn’t eat a drop from 8 am until 4:30 when Lew got home. The dehydration and the nomeds freaks me out every time. The pediatrician, ER, cardiologist, GI…all basically say “well he needs to eat.” 

But. He’s not. No solutions given, no next steps. 

Ozzy for the most part is his typical happy self. He just has switched his day and night. Has Dada up all night eating  and nothing during the day.
