Big news!! All of a sudden two days ago Ozzy drank water straight from his bottle! He has never been coordinated enough to do this, his dysphasia causes him to have a hard time navigating liquids. We used to have to thicken his formula but for over 6 months now he’s been able to handle it not thickened. Water however was still too thin and he would choke and gag trying to swallow. 

Now that he can drink water there are so many benefits that have us excited. We can keep his teeth cleaner from having formula sit on them after a feed, water will obviously help keep him more hydrated (which is huge for his heart) and hopefully the extra fluid will help keep the constipation at bay.
