Update on Oskar:
Kidney levels are continuing to come down steadily. Still feels like crap and not eating kibble or drinking water on his own yet. Vet is thrilled with progress and dialysis is on hold. He is turned over from nephrology to internal medicine to manage everything unless his kidney needs a random flush over the next 2 weeks or so. We are able to get his bloodwork done locally at our vet which saves on the stress of the long trips for him and he has more time to rest. He has a high white blood cell count and one liver value still critical so theyβre thinking he got pancreatitis during long time with cholestasis. Next week he goes back to UPenn for re evaluation and progress check. πΎOskar would like to thank you all again for the continued support.Β
