Hi everyone,

It’s been a few days since sweet Olivia came home from the hospital, and while we’re so thankful to have her back under her own roof, the transition hasn’t been easy. She’s been adjusting to a new normal—wrapped up in the arms of mom and dad, where she feels safest and most comfortable. Sleep only comes when she’s snuggled on one of them, and honestly, none of us blame her.

Due to some challenges keeping food down on her own, Olivia has been placed on an NJ feeding tube to help ensure she’s staying nourished and strong. Cook Children’s has worked hard to develop a chemo plan, but we’re currently waiting to hear back from St. Jude’s team as they complete a molecular study to finalize the best course of treatment. There’s a high likelihood that Olivia and her parents will need to travel to Memphis soon for a portion—or possibly all—of her treatment cycle.

Through all of this, we are reminded that God is still on the throne. He’s never left Olivia’s side, and He continues to hold her future in His hands. We ask that you continue to lift her up in your prayers—prayers for healing, comfort, and peace for this beautiful little fighter.
