Truthfully, for the last 2+ months, I've been in a state of shock and stunned, and not about to deliver any content that would be of value to you.  It was never my intention to make these updates about all the grief, upset and overwhelm that I've been experiencing. 
I think I am finally emerging from that state and I certainly feel a lot better.  So, don't give up on receiving updates.  I want you to know that although the fires are no longer "big news", all of the many families that experienced this catastrophy are still in the very first stages of this process. 
We're hearing that lots won't all be cleared till the end of the year. 
There's so much paperwork, documentation, phone calls and emails that have to be made before strict deadlines
We are being inundated with info about who to sue. 
I wish I had a measuring cup - I bought Success Instant rice for the first time ever.... and.   huh, it worked out - who knew. 
Things are moving slowly here and people are adjusting at their own pace.  
Hey I'm just letting you know, I'm seeing some light at the end of the tunnel that I've been in
(and if I pause to find a photo for this it'll take much more time than I have).... I'm coming back, better than ever, I promise.  But it's a slow process and there is so much uncertainty in our lives right now.
