I was inspired to write this - not something I would normally do.  I have no car, we are all the way in Hawthorne, and I'm good walking, taking public transportation with no problems (subways and the tube etc don't repel me).  However sometimes I need a ride because of the distance of my destination.  I miss out on a lot of the Pasadena events for people who lost their homes.  
If you are in the area and could help me - I promise I won't abuse the offer, I would love to have some friends who are willing for me to contact them with my request - with absolutely NO hard feelings for schedules working out or whatever.
