Noah’s Healing Journey
Wow time has really flown by this past month! We have been so busy with all the things and I wanted to take a minute and update you all on how Noah is doing and our plans going forward.
This past month has been huge for the development of our boy! Noah has blown us away with things he has accomplished. We had been at a bit of a standstill for a while but with the work we do every week we have seen really promising progress. Noah has since taken his first unassisted steps!!! Not once but multiple times now. It’s not yet consistent, but one thing is for sure that he is gaining so much more confidence in himself, strength and balance in his body, and motivation to stand up on his own and feel proud of himself. We are so unbelievably grateful for these new milestones.
This morning we had a wonderful session with Occupational Therapy- Noah kept his ace bandage restraint of his dominant hand/arm on with a record breaking 40 minutes! During this time we observed Noah reaching high up to pop bubbles Jessie had high up and he even opened his hand enough to grab onto and put back in the bubble wand!!!! I have never seen him do something like this before, not with this much accuracy. I am so over the moon with his improvements 🥰
As far as our crowdfunding campaign goes, we are actively in talks with some local musicians to plan a benefit for our boy. We are in planning mode, but we’ll have more news on that soon! 🙏🏻
Noah’s brain is clearly actively creating new pathways - with the stem cell treatment, I feel in my heart it will give him just what he needs to be able to do more and set him up for the rest of his life.
