Hello friends & family 🇺🇸
July is well underway… I have somewhat of a brief update… I’m feeling OK. Most days/weeks I feel like I’m on a roller coaster… From one day to the next, I can feel almost normal & then absolutely terrible just hours later.
My treatment plan remains the same, I’m receiving an infusion every three weeks…, and at home I keep things low-key & low stress as much as possible. Being with my family and managing side effects in my body, are the things that consume my time and attention. I’m grateful for my kids and all that they do to help lift and support me. I’m SO thankful for those that have helped to provide meals for my family or financially donate. All of you have helped me maintain a sense of normalcy, and for that I am so grateful.
My body is getting slightly stronger… I’m able to tolerate walking a mile or so a few times a week. My oldest son Cole… has been a great sport and driven me to the mountains, even for a couple short hikes, that wipe me out physically. But mentally , the mountains and the fresh air give me a reset that make the exhaustion all the more worth it.
I’ve included a few pictures…. My garden is doing well… We’re just about ready to get our second round of green peas… and the carrots, tomatoes potatoes, pumpkins, petunias and poppies are all growing strong. When I have a little spurt energy I love digging in the dirt.
Next week I have another set of scans… and I’m praying for clear results.
Thank you for all of the love and support
