No one can prepare you to see your baby on a ventilator. No one can prepare you to be away from your small children that call you home 24 hours a day. Mylah has been on an incredibly difficult journey that has had us in multiple ambulance rides, life flights, local hospital delays and mistreatments. Yesterday she was put on a ventilator due to a local hospital, not having a good amount of experience with pediatric patients. She was in status epileptics and coming to, and they wanted to protect her airway only as a precaution rather than a necessity. Pushing us to be admitted into the ICU and running another EEG. The biggest help from my family right now would be supporting us through prayer and financially if possible. As when I’m away from my kids, my husband is missing work and it is taking a toll on our family.
