Morgan continues to make excellent progress in his recovery!  He is currently on a regular nasal canula for oxygen needs(vs high flow oxygen or bi-pap/c-pap), and tonight we will try that for night time as well (because of how sick Morgan was his team wanted him on cpap last night not because he wasn't doing well on oxygen but to give his lungs a little break and be proactive).  He's been able to have music therapy 2 days this week, and will have some OT in a little bit.  He's been getting in his wheelchair a few hours each day since Wednesday.  He is still tiring incredibly quickly, but given all his body has been through, that's to be expected. 

 Medically speaking, it's quite possible that he'll be cleared for discharge sometime next week, which is far sooner than the team initially told us to expect. However, there is an inpatient rehab program here (where he would get 3 hours of therapies- ot, pt, etc) to get him back to his motor baseline (gross and fine motor skills) that we are hoping to get Morgan into.  If he qualifies we would be here a while longer (I'm not sure exact time frame).  If not, we would be doing quite a bit of outpatient therapies (a few times a week), while finishing recovery at home.  My hope is that we can get into the inpatient program, as I think he'd get back to his baseline sooner.
