Last weekend started as a chill weekend in the hospital (we had initially just been staying as we needed to wait for insurance to approve a cpap machine), turned eventful Saturday night.  Morgan's epilepsy ramped up and he went into status epilepticus on Saturday night.  Thankfully we were still inpatient and Morgan responded well to iv rescue meds, but this led to us needing to stay inpatient an extra day to search for causes/find solutions (as Morgan's epilepsy is typically very well controlled with daily medications).

We were able to get Morgan's cpap machine on Tuesday and Tuesday a little before noon he was discharged!

We are home and both exhausted but so glad to be able to sleep in our own beds, and Callie (our beloved dog that a friend cared for) will be coming home this evening. :)

This week we will be trying to settle into a home routine as Morgan continues to recover.  He will start pt and ot next week and has lots of follow up medical appointments.

Thank you all for showing up for us.  All of the love we have recieved and the cards, notes, messages, gifts and financial support, meals and so much more has meant so much to us and has truly meant so much to us.

I will continue to post a few updates over the next few weeks, and if you are local we are hopefully going to go see a Taylor Swift laser light show at a local museum in a few weeks to celebrate Morgans homecoming.  We'd love for friends to join us (I'm too tired to figure out dates right now), so please reach out if you want to come.
