Hi all!  I know some of you following on here do not recieve my Facebook updates so I wanted to update here.  After we got home from Morgan's ARDS in March, we had a great 6 weeks home.  After that, Morgan began catching various infections and has had numerous hospital stays, some a few days, but most lasting weeks to a month.  With each stay, his body gets a little weaker.  We are currently inpatient and have been since December 10.  While Morgan is on the road to recovery from this admission, his medical team does not have many more ways for us to stay out of the hospital and they expect further decline.  

My goal has always been to focus on Morgan's quality of life, so upon coming home (hopefully in the next week), Morgan will be enrolled in concurrent hospice services (allowing him to recieve curative treatment AND hospice care).  We will be focusing on enjoying as much time together we we can, making memories and keeping him comfortable.

With that, there are lots of practical ways people can support us.  A friend has set up a give in kind page (as this allows for easier organization/delegation of tasks).  I am adding the link here, but if you feel more comfortable utilizing this platform, I will keep the donations open.
