One of our beautiful young ladies, named Rimsha,at the sewing center will soon be the first to have been saved from abuse, brought to the sewing center, and married!!! Look at how happy she is! I am so amazed at how far weβve come in such a short amount of time! YHWH is so good yβall!ππ»ππ»ππ»
Nabeel and Zara took her dress shopping the other day to see what they could find for a decent price. YHWH provided yet again by leading them to a woman who sells wedding dresses and does hair and makeup also for weddings. She is a Christian and wants to help the women at the sewing center! She has given us a huge discount on Rimshaβs dress and hair and makeup! Her dress is $90 instead of $120 and for hair and makeup she said, βI charge Muslims $200 but I will only charge you $100.β YHWH is so good yβall!
To book her, she only asked for a $20 down payment which we were able to do. We will pay the rest with the profits of the dress order. However, it will take a lot more for the wedding to happen in November and while we would like to wait for the profits to come in, we really need to be putting down payments on a few other things sooner rather than later as well. We only need $2,000 total for the wedding and this covers dress, hair and makeup, venue, food, and furniture for her new house as is customary for Pakistani weddings.Β
Which brings me to my next praise! Nabeel and Zara spent time a few days ago comparing prices of furniture from different shops and they found another Christian business owner who also shared a great desire to help them! He also gave us a huge discount on the furniture for Rimsha and even gave Nabeel sweet potatoes to feed the women over the weekend when the bank was closed and Nabeel was unable to pick up the money we sent. Nabeel is making good connections there and I couldnβt be happier! Things are finally moving along and I pray that we will be able to build the business more quickly from here on out. YHWH has been so good to us!ππ»ππ»ππ»
The wedding needs:
-dress, hair and makeup ($190 instead of $320)
-bed, sofa, dressing table and clothing cupboard ($900 instead of $1,100)
-food ($400)
-Utensils (hairbrush, makeup, things of that sort) (approximately $250)
-Venue ($210)
Total: $1,950
