Dear Supporters,
As I shared some weeks ago, my left hip, now, requires a complete rebuild, due to its repair having been completely botched by two previous surgeons -- one at Emory and th other at Piedmont's Peachtree Orthopaedics -- which led to a series of EXCRUCIATING dislocations.
Unless this surgery us done, the long stretch of my fused spine adds pressure to my hip replacements, thus, all but guaranteeing continued dislocations until it never stays put.
This all comes with my continued inability to get back "in the game" with respect to work/income.
Your wonderful support is and continues to be appreciated beyond expression.
Meanwhile, I keep telling myself that I...WE...SHALL GET THROUGH THIS, starting with today's Pre-Op in preparation for my surgery scheduled 2wks from today -- 25 July.
