Fridays surgery seemed to have gone well! The doctor said the new MRI looked fantastic! Mike was in good spirits and expected to be released on Monday, 9/23. His first day of recovery was difficult but he did just have brain surgery!! Regardless he was moved out of ICU! Sunday he seemed to be doing much better, although doctors requested no visitors so he could rest. 

Unfortunately today it was found that he has a brain bleed! Thankfully his girlfriend Claudia was there to advocate for Mike to get him another scan because he wasn’t acting himself. They are currently putting a drain in and will hopefully be able to remove it in a few days. Mike will likely spend the rest of the week at Piedmont Hospital. Please pray he is able to rest so he can move forward with recovery and come home soon!! This is a setback but he’s so strong and will make it through this. 🙏🏻🩶🙏🏻🩶
