ποΈ Thursday, September 26, 2025 β Day 177 in the NICU
Today was another tough day for our Mighty Mateo. He had 3 episodes β 2 were from getting upset and holding his breath, and the 3rd happened while he was trying so hard to poop. π
The good news is his heart and blood pressure are back to normal π but his potassium is still low, and he lost a little weight. We are still waiting for the culture results. Mateo is very swollen β more than Iβve ever seen him before β but through it all, our fighter keeps fighting. πͺ
Heβs also showing us a little personality and has officially earned the nickname βMr. Grinch.β π Even with all heβs going through, he doesnβt stop reminding us how strong he is.
Please keep our boy in your prayers. Every thought, prayer, and bit of love means the world to us β and I love and appreciate each of you so much for walking this journey with us. π
