Had a few ups and downs this week with the results from my petscan.   I finished round 3 of chemo pretty well! Some hard days but mostly good! Got snowed In one weekend, so glad to have Nick around to help entertain Everett! We made cookies, doughnuts, painted, colored, made racetracks, played legos, watched finding Nemo- you name it! Haha.  Anyone with young boys know the constant entertainment.   
I had a petscan last Friday to see where we are with it being our halfway point.  I was glad they were able to access my port versus getting stuck so much.  My veins have not been great since chemo.   There’s good and bad news! Good news is the spots in my breast and lymph node have shrunk almost by half! The lesions on my liver have shrunk and it is responding to chemo.  The bad news is there are new spots showing disease.  On an outer lobe of my liver and a lymph node outside of my kidney.  The next plan is to do another biopsy to see what we are looking at.  If it is estrogen and progesterone positive they were sharing with me that after chemo there is a new drug that target this- only been on the market a month.  So positive for that. Just disappointment more cancer is coming up.  They are going to send everything to Duke as well and I’ll see what they say March 10.  
Nick came with me today and did a fabulous job changing my cold cap! My hair is hanging on!
We even snuck in a quick trip last weekend to visit Sara, Asa and we took Asa and Everett to the Atlanta aquarium and made some core memories!!! 

So grateful for everyone continuously reaching out, the support, the meals, the prayers, and encouragement! Going to keep fighting with God by my side.  Hope is stronger than fear.
