Megan had her port placed on Thursday and it went well. Definitely sore from it but it’s healing nicely she was a good patient and named her port Ricky. 

She had her genetics follow up on Friday a she does have a genetic marker for Breast Cancer the BRCA2 gene mutation. While this doesn’t change any course of treatment with chemo it will after her chemo is finished. There are some things they will add into her maintenance treatment but more on that later after more conversations with her oncologist. Knowledge is power.
