Today was a really great day for our family.  Ben was finally able to reunite with our pup, Russell, who was lost in the woods up the McKenzie River (about 40 miles from home) overnight after the crash.  
We had wonderful friends that drove up the river to find our dog the next day and THANKFULLY, rescued him and brought him home to us.

Russell had been very scared and cold and probably pretty confused by the fact that Ben still wasn't home in the evenings.  Ben had been missing his best four-legged buddy and the photos we were sharing with him weren't cutting it.

Well, today was the day!  Ben was able to get outside for a nice hour-long walk/roll and we brought Russell from home so they could walk together.  A truly happy reunion ensued and that was about the best therapy a person could ask for. 

Love truly is powerful medicine!
