Update on Matt’s stem cell journey🤍

We were supposed to be on our way to Colombia next week for Matt’s first stem cell treatment. We had the dates, the plan, the hope locked in. But right now, life has asked us to pause.
Everything in the life of The Lunts is happening all at once. Our home sold, and we have to be out April 1st. On top of preparing to travel for Matt’s treatment, we’re also trying to figure out where our family will lay our heads next. We put an offer on a house—full of hope—and it wasn’t meant to be. Another offer was accepted, and just like that, we were left standing at square one again.
Matt will always be our number one priority. Every decision we make starts and ends with him, and our family as a whole too. But in this moment, we also need a place to call home—a safe place to land while we continue this fight. So with heavy hearts, we are postponing our journey to Colombia until we can secure our next chapter here at home.
What keeps us going through this ache is knowing that Matt’s treatment is 100% paid for. That alone feels like a miracle we don’t take lightly. Because of your generosity, love, and prayers, this door is still wide open for us. We are endlessly grateful that BioXcellerator has shown us so much grace and understanding during this overwhelming season.
Some days feel impossibly heavy. Like there aren’t enough hours, enough strength, or enough breath to carry it all. Life has a way of stacking the hard all at once, and right now, we’re just doing our best to stand.
Thank you for continuing to love us, pray for us, and walk beside our family through this journey. We feel your support in ways words can’t fully express—and it’s what helps us keep going, even on the days that break our hearts. 🤍

I am wishing you the very best as you look for a new home. That is a stressful situation in itself without the other things going on in your life. It seems to me, that you had expressed in the past that Matt’s treatment was under a time deadline. If you are postponing treatment, I hope that does not mean that the chance is lessened for possible success.
