Every donation, message, share, and word of support has reminded us that we are not walking this journey alone. Thank you for believing in Mateo and in what’s possible for his future. 

 

Because of your support, we’ve officially booked our lodging for our first in-person house-hunting trip to Maryland. Up until now, every step of this process, researching neighborhoods, exploring housing options, connecting with providers, has happened online. Soon, we’ll finally be able to see these spaces in person and imagine what daily life for Mateo could look like there. 

 

During this trip, we’ll also tour several medical facilities and institutions that have the potential to play a critical role in Mateo’s care. Being closer to specialized providers will give Mateo access to the services, expertise, and opportunities he needs to continue growing, learning, and living to his fullest potential. 

 

As we move forward, future donations will continue to support: 

• Relocation and housing expenses 

• Travel and lodging during this transition 

• Access to specialized medical care and therapies 

• The ongoing costs of building a safe, supportive life for Mateo in Maryland
