The prayers are working!

Mason’s family said he looked much better today. Mason is still intubated and under sedation. He had bandage changes this morning. 

Mason still has his humor. He was back making smart remarks to his brother, Nic. It’s a learning curve for the family to communicate with him. Danelle mentioned they are not very good at reading lips (this is being said with humor and sarcasm). 

The plan tomorrow is surgery for his severe burns on his hands and arms. They want to clean the wounds and do skin grafts. This is not set in stone. Plans change frequently. If they do the surgery, they’re hoping to extubate (remove his breathing tube). Again, this is all tentative and can change at any time. 

Thank you everyone for the thoughts, prayers, donations, etc… It’s so humbling to see all of the people who come together when Mason needs them. 

Mason’s brother Nic, mom Danelle, and dad Jesse are down there with him. For now, those are the only visitors. Once he regains strength and his family is ready, I will update everyone who’d like to reach out. 

Again, thank you all. I cannot express my gratitude enough for each and every one of you. This is a trying time for everyone, but the positive comments do make a substantial difference.
