Mason is doing well today.

He had a low energy morning and managed to eat some pancakes.

I arrived around lunch time bearing a few gifts from home- including new Air Pod Pros sent by a friend so he can start listening to his music again and maybe even have an audio book as an option to entertain him. He also received a stuffed orange cat. He loved it- but claims we cannot name it Nacho as he still wants the real thing. I also brought him a mini chocolate pie- per his request. He ate it in two bites- at least he knows what he likes!

Mason spent time watching some professional lacrosse, then switched to playing Fortnite, then to watching YouTube, then back to Fortnite, then I finally convinced him maybe it was time to start moving for the day. We took a walk down to the Zone where I challenged him in a rousing game of foosball (not really- he beat me 10-1 pretty easily- hand/eye coordination games are not my strong suit).

I was also able to perform a cap change and line flush with his nurse- more practice so that I am able to manage his line care at home.

His lab work continues to look good from a chemo standpoint. We continue to pray that all remains stable so we can get a change of scenery (for a few days at least). Now I'm off to ask what he would like to try for dinner tonight- I can guarantee chocolate cake will need to be on the menu.
