Almost 2 Weeks In: $2,749 Raised — And Tomorrow Is the Benefit

The first few days brought an incredible wave of support. Since then, things have slowed considerably, and we still have a very long way to go.

But tomorrow gives us a chance to bring MaryEllen’s story to a much larger circle.

On October 17 at 7 PM ET, Indie Ink Fund is hosting Writers for MaryEllen, a two-hour live online benefit featuring writers and creatives who have volunteered their time from across the writing community.

MaryEllen will open the evening herself, joined by Verdant Butterfly, Kris Buckel, Rebecca Watson, Dave Boyko, Haly, The Moonlight Bard, and Hallie Jules. The event will be hosted by Indie Ink Fund with Bradley Ramsey, Victor Clubb, and Wendy Russell.

There will be stories, poetry, conversation, and a chance to discover some writers you may not know yet. Most importantly, we’re hoping the evening introduces MaryEllen and this campaign to people who haven’t encountered it before.

Tomorrow isn’t the finish line. We’re hoping it becomes the beginning of the next wave.
