Marley's Miracle
This week Marley has been in Chicago for medical appointments, but miles away something incredible is happening in the New Mexico desert.
Our friend Tom Lyman is taking on the Bataan Memorial Death March, a grueling endurance ruck, not for himself, but for Marley.
He calls it Miles for Marley’s Miracle.
Because what Marley carries every day is heavier than any pack.
Her journey with NARS1 is rare, complex, and filled with unknowns. But through it all, one thing has become so clear:
She is not carrying this alone.
Tom felt called to step in—to literally carry weight on her behalf. Mile after mile, step after step, he’s showing what it looks like to step into someone else’s fight and say, “I’ve got some of this.”
And he’s not the only one.
Over the past year, we’ve seen a community rise up around Marley in the most beautiful, unexpected ways. People giving, praying, creating, showing up—reminding us again and again that we are not alone in this.
This weekend is more than a march.
It’s a picture of faith in action.
Of love that moves.
Of people choosing to carry the weight together.
If Tom’s steps move you, there’s a way to walk alongside him—and alongside Marley.
When you give, you’re not just making a donation.
You’re helping lift the weight.
You’re helping move this story forward.
You’re becoming part of Marley’s miracle.
(If you do, Tom asks that you include a note: “Miles for Marley’s Miracle.”)
