Life doesn't stop just because you have cancer, and that means birthday continue to come no matter what.  Last Saturday was Mack's 12th birthday and he wanted to go have some fun!

We got to Six Flags right as the doors opened - and we knew we had limited time before Mack ran out of gas, so we got right to the fun. 

We brought his best friends, Emaline and Atticus.  We rode lots of coasters, ate Dippin' Dots (which are no longer 'The Ice Cream of The Future' - it's just 'Ice Cream' now 😅), laughed, got rained on, and generally had a great time. 

Emaline faced her fears and rode Batman!

Mack's favorite ride was Goliath - which is objectively the best roller coaster out there and we rode it 3 times - once in the middle, once in the front, and once in the back. 

It was a great start to what will surely be the hardest year of Mack's little life so far. 

Here's to hoping we make it through, and his 13th birthday is the start of a much easier year :)
