Mack turned 2!

Mack did so great at his birthday party interacting with everyone and tolerating noise. His favorite part was playing with one of my closest friends, Hannah and her daughter Laney who is 6 months younger than him. We are so proud of how far Mack has come. I remember when Mack was first diagnosed with epilepsy and since then I have constantly felt like he won't be with us long. How strong is this boy that has been living through unmanageable seizures but still he progresses socially and cognitively? How great is our God to let that be the case? Lately I have been busy fostering his progress and don't dwell so much on how unsustainable his life feels at times. I have more joy than sorrow as I watch him learn and grow. I'm so thankful to God for that.
