Happy fall and Thanksgiving season to all!  

I love the crisp fall air, blue sky and the changing colors of the leaves.  

We are fortunate to have these in Oklahoma. 

 

Updating you on my cancer/kidney journey. 

 

So the not so good news is that my recent PET scan showed progression of growth in the pelvic mass along with “multiple, additional” pelvic nodes being affected. 

However, there is good news in that this “aggressive cancer with a poor prognosis” has shown only a “mild” progression over the past 6 months, according to the radiologist’s report. 

 

My oncologist was greatly surprised and said that I had already defied the odds and survived a year longer than was expected.  

This is where lack of such statistical knowledge is of great benefit. 

I say, Thank You, Jesus!!  

Still, continued prayer is needed and is appreciated!! 

I KNOW God has my timing in His hands.  He has already numbered my days even before there ever was even one of them. 

 

My kidneys continue to remain stable in stage 4. 

 

I will be stopping the peptide therapy after next week, Nov. 12th, due to the cost.  I have wrestled in prayer long enough and am choosing to accept God’s Will for my life and be at peace with it.  It’s not easy surrendering your will, but it does no good to worry and stress over what God already has in His plan and under His control.  

He is still very capable of healing!! 

 

With that said, it does not mean I’m giving up my responsibility toward maintaining my cancer/CKD health regimen.  It means I will continue to stay faithful to my various protocols that come at a more affordable cost and continue TRUSTING GOD for the outcome. 

 

In February of this year, the oncologist gave me a 9-12 month life span.  Knowing this I set up another PET scan for March of 2026. :)

With a very GRATEFUL heart I say THANK YOU to those of you who have continued to follow my story, who have financially helped me in making these treatments possible and for ALL the prayers that have been and are continuing to be prayed on my behalf.
