Today I just need to take a moment and honor my husband. 

Jason took off work again today to head to the house and keep pushing through demo and remediation. He is so determined to get us home… but even more than that, he’s determined to make sure it’s truly safe when we get there.

I’m beyond thankful for a man who not only knows what he’s doing when it comes to construction, but who also knows how to properly remediate and protect our family. Especially knowing he had back surgery just a little over a year ago… and yet here he is, putting in endless hours without complaint.

With our time at the Airbnb coming to an end next Friday, he’s carrying so much on his shoulders right now… and still showing up every single day.

Today he’s working on Christian’s room. My heart aches knowing what our babies were sleeping next to. But I also feel so much hope… because I know healing is coming for all of us.

Jason, we see you. We love you. And we are so grateful for everything you’re doing to bring us home. 

And to our village… thank you. For every prayer, every share, every message, every offer to help this weekend, and every donation to help ease the financial burden… we feel it all. We truly couldn’t do this without you!
