Lincoln Hocevar
Well, we were mentally, emotionally, and logistically ready to be admitted today to start the 2nd cycle of chemotherapy. This would have been a 5 day admit with chemo infusions everyday. But at the clinic, Lincoln’s blood counts were too low to get chemo. So we were sent home and will try again next Thursday. So a bit frustrating but that is the how this process can go and at least we get another week of hopefully feeling good.
Otherwise, we had a great Halloween, lots of candy that should last us to next year!! For the most part, Lincoln had a good week. The down side was his hair started falling out, now he is sporting a Mr. Clean look. This transition has been very hard on him being he’s 9 and does not want to look different. But he’s being so brave and is handsome as ever.
Thank you so much again, for all the support! We’ll keep posting!
