- Around Thanksgiving, mom was doing some research in innovative therapies for children with physical disabilities. Courtney came across Kinactive Kids on Instagram and after scrolling through hours of videos, she knew in her gut she had to get Liam there. Mom applied Liam and was in the works of nailing down a two week period for camp.
As the new year began, Liam headed off to Texas for his first Kinactive Kamp. Liam did hard work there. This model was different than traditional therapy at home. 1 hour per session 2x a day, it was tough on Liam! He was able to briefly be placed in ring sit unassisted by the time we went home. We were given many workouts to continue at home and we created an awesome gym at home for Liam.
However, Mom noticed he was not getting any healthier, he sounded worse and his work of breath looked worse. Courtney called the ENT doctors and pleaded for a sleep study as soon as they got home from Texas.
