Sometimes you just can’t make this nonsense up!
Yesterday a pipe burst and our street was affected. We had no running water for most of the day and are now under a boil water advisory. It’s continued today and projected to be underway until the water tests come back late Monday. The Health Department was contacted and guess what…the water is not safe to use for our sweet little burn superhero to bathe in. And guess who baths are so important for at this very moment. We are bringing in distilled water and boiling it and attempting to make the best of the situation and sponge bath her in the sink. It takes 4 of us and an extra person for Josiah to do dressing changes every night. It’s no joke, folks!
Overall she had a descent day again today.
Thank you again for everyone supporting us. The beginning of the new deck for Leah is happening. She is going to be so excited to have a safe clean place to be outside. Shoes are hard because of the grafting location on her ankle and we haven’t made it past slippers yet.

- Rest! Both kids were up so much last night.
- Continued use of her right hand. We are making baby steps every day.
- Clean Safe water- so important for our girl right now.
- Next appt is Monday. Continue to pray for miraculous healing.
