We are in awe of the amount of people who love and want to help Lawson and our family. THANK YOU THANK YOU!!! 🙏🏻❤️🫶🏻
We are so grateful and eager to get Lawson into treatment. Our days are filled with the chaos of having several very small kids and children with extra needs means even more effort put forth daily. Tomorrow we will spend much of our day running to and from some of his weekly therapies. It’s a long day for Lawson, I and his little brother, Ari, but it’s apart of his routine now. Lawson has worked so hard to gain speech and be able to communicate with us but he still really struggles. On New Year’s Eve Lawson was crying after being frustrated that he couldn’t explain to me what he wanted. Out of frustration I began to cry too. He then looked at me and said “want to talk, yes”, meaning he wished he could talk more to us. It broke my heart but also filled me with all the determination I needed. I had been praying for a year now on if HBOT was the right next step for us and if so- when? I had been waiting on the lord to tell me it was time and at that moment I felt the call to move forward. To figure out funding and take the leap of faith we had been so cautious to take. I told Lawson right then that I would never stop fighting for him and that I believed Jesus can and will heal him. I would do anything in the world to help him, I just needed the guidance.
From so many of our own experiences I know God uses our hardships to not only grow us as the people he has called us to be but to also develop a testimony in us that others will see and also draw near to Jesus. I pray this journey does that for some of you reading. I pray seeing what the lord can do in Lawson’s life provides you with the hope you need to persevere through the challenges in your life. We serve a mighty god who is in the business of healing and transforming lives. Thank you for being here to support and witness his work!
