Update 10.10.25

Day 54: I am delighted to share that it has been seven weeks since my surgery, and my recovery is progressing steadily. The 9.5-hour procedure necessitated a prolonged recovery period, during which I have been residing at my parents' home in Russell County. Although the extensive surgery presented mental recovery challenges, I am pleased to report that my mental health is improving, and I have recently resumed driving. Later this month, I will return to MD Anderson Cancer Center for a series of postoperative follow-up appointments with my medical teams, totaling seven appointments over two days. One of these appointments will be a consultation with a Proton Radiation specialist to discuss potential treatment options. I would like to extend my sincere gratitude to all those who have provided financial support to cover my travel and accommodation expenses while at MD Anderson.
