Up and down on Long Island

We keep being a bit thwarted in our attempts at fun…. Though we persevere. After being told the other day that I didn’t need any more  medical clearances I was told yesterday that I need a new Echocardiogram after all, and the only one they could get me if at 8am in manhattan on Saturday morning. Bleh. Abd, the air is super smoky here from wildfires north of us. But we are doing our best! If only every change and challenge wasn’t frustrating and expensive…, trying to remain my usual upbeat self, but suppose it’s ok to have some down beats, right? 

The air and heat are supposed to improve today/tomorrow, that should help, and we have our big treats, day at the MOMA and SIX! this weekend.
