Good morning from foggy San Francisco, you beautiful people of my heart.
If I’m honest, my body would tell you I’m doing terribly, but my heart is full of love today, despite being tired and full of range at how broken our care systems are. And please forgive my typos, my motor skills are not happy right now:
First the tl;dr on support topics:
1.If you happen to have them the number one thing that would help the most right now is delta miles or Hilton Honors points because all of the changing dynamics of the surgery and my medical stuff, it’s all getting more expensive so extra points in miles would help only if you have them thank you friends.
2. Anyone shopping from the Amaon gift list should know I am updating the address to our first New York hotel as of today so if it seems like it’s sending the items to San Francisco please check with me first and thank you!
OK now for the medical ramble… I know lots of you know this I’m just gonna give it to you unaltered because this is my update list in my support site and I can do that. So one
of the many things I have to organize
for this surgery is a large (but not the largest) pile od of labs… which includes a bunch of hormone labs and because those have to be done in specific times and
and because our population is generally pretty medically fragile, my surgeon has all of his patients do those with a at home phlebotomy service supposedly. So I talked to a bunch of services and Most of them
wouldn’t even consider doing my labs.
One of them said oh yes, no problem book it so I booked it and then the night before it was actually gonna happen said oh
we can’tbdo those labs sorry so I canceled it at their request and there’s still having their bots. Send me messages about why did I cancel and yeah.
whatever the heck so I rescheduled with travel lab, which is my past experience has been a great place to get slightly more difficult or obscure labs done at home but this time they delayed and delayed and then didn’t have their phlebotomist call me after they said they would…
And then at the last minute phlebotomist guy called and clearly hadn’t read the instructions because he literally said “dude like 11:30?” and then they didn’t wanna give me a refund but I argued and I got a refund and then there’s been like five more things like that and I’m only saying all of this because I’m just venting and thinking about how much all of us all of us our whole country would be better . And they had better give me a refund.
I just want a healthcare that works
well for everyone and has enough staff and pays all the people who work enough
where we can actually get what we need approximately when we need . Nothing much.
