Kyler’s Krew
Hi friends 🤍
We wanted to share a little update on Kyler and ask for your continued prayers.
As many of you know, Kyler has had some ongoing challenges, including only being able to eat puréed foods right now. His regular pediatrician recommended that we see a pediatric endocrinologist after all of his labs—including his thyroid panel—came back normal, but his growth was still a concern.
At that appointment, they did a bone age scan, and the results showed that without intervention, he is currently projected to only reach about 5 feet tall. We don’t know why, his genetic testing shows no reasoning for this.😔
Because of this, the next step is an in-office growth hormone stimulation test in June to see if his body is producing enough growth hormone on its own. If it’s not, we have some very important decisions to make.
There’s a lot to process, and honestly, it can feel overwhelming trying to understand and navigate all of this. We are doing our best to take it one step at a time and make the best decisions for him.
More than anything, we would truly appreciate your prayers—for wisdom, for clear direction, for Kyler’s body to respond well, and for peace for our family as we walk through this.
Thank you for loving him and supporting us. It means more than I can put into words.
