Hello my friends, family, supporters, those interested in learning about Addisons Disease/Adrenal Insufficiency.
On Friday I began hormone replacement therapy (Hydrocortisone tabs) three times daily.
I also have Keppra in case muscle contractions/convulsions were to begin again. I am so far thankful to not have needed it.
Yesterday was my daughters Cheer clinic at Whitmer schools and I was determined to make it. I was too weak to walk so thankfully my Mom took me and my son pushed me in my wheelchair.
Unfortunately I couldn't handle being there for too long, but her and my hearts were happy that I made it at least ❤️
That little trip took so much out of me that I essentially slept from 2pm yesterday to 9 am today (with brief periods of waking).
I am learning to listen to my body to rest as it recovers. If you know me, slowing down is kind of the hardest part of this. I am such a "doer".
