Hello friends/family,
It has been over a week since my last update and I finally feel up to it to provide one.

I am on strict bedrest and will not be taking any visitors at this time until my body stabilizes. I miss people, a lot, but I need to get better.

This has been a very rough week health-wise, my body has been fighting to stay in Adrenal Crisis. As soon as we stop the high-steroid crisis dosing, my body throws itself right back into crisis mode. With this comes intense confusion, extreme pain, weakness, fatigue, lack of mobility, muscle contractions, temperature irregularity, tremors no appetite on top of many other things.

Adrenal Crisis is LIFE THREATENING every time.

I keep telling people, at this point I feel that I am just waking up to try to stay alive...because realistically, it's true.

Due to the severity and fragility of my condition, I reached out to my new Endocrinologist again to try to get in sooner as he is who will be truly MANAGING this condition. I was not scheduled to see until the end of September (there is no way I can live like this until then, like physically I don't think it's possible). He moved my appointment up to next Tuesday 8/25 due to the consistent adrenal crisis.... thank God!

That timing fit perfectly as on Monday I am completing the ACTH (Cosyntropin) Stimulation Test which will help determine if my condition is Primary or Secondary Adrenal Insufficiency -- Once primary or secondary is confirmed, we can have an accurate plan in action.

Today and every day this week I simply just take in any little thing that makes me smile and continue to pray for the strength to continue until this condition stabilizes. I am tired, truly.

Thank you so much for the continued prayers, thoughts, well wishes. I may not respond or may not be quick to -- but just know that my heart smiles.

Until the next update...

Love,
Me.
