Friends and Family,

We want to thank everyone who joined us on Friday to honor and celebrate Kendal’s life, whether you were there in person, with us on the livestream, or holding her in your thoughts from afar.

Seeing so many people come together meant a great deal to our family. Your presence, messages, prayers, flowers, meals, memories, and support have carried us through these difficult weeks. We have been deeply moved by the love so many people have for Kendal.

Friday was a beautiful reminder of the impact Kendal had on the lives of others and how widely she was loved. Thank you for helping us celebrate her life with warmth, kindness, laughter, and remembrance.

The celebration of life service y’all put together to honor Kendal was lovely! I watched it on Friday evening & so appreciated the rich stories of a life well lived. Thank you for providing the virtual replay! Kendal was a gem & I’m grateful for the times we shared doing campus ministry & wording together at Akron Christian Reformed Church (now Highland Square Reformed Church). I’ll always remember the great conversations & belly laughter shared between Dennis, Kendal & me during the catechism class Harry ran for us at ACRC. Continued prayers for strength, comfort & hope being lifted up for Dennis, Jordan, Cameron & Carla.
