We want to share the details for Kendal’s service with all of you who have supported her and stood by our family through this.

Kendal meant so much to so many people, and we would love to come together to honor her life, share stories, and simply be with one another.

Friday, April 24
Visitation with the family: 1:00 pm to 2:30 pm
Celebration of Kendal’s life: 2:30 pm to 3:00 pm

The service will be held at Logan-Videon Funeral Home.

Your messages, meals, prayers, and support have carried us through these days. We are deeply grateful. We hope you can join us as we remember Kendal and the love she shared with all of us.

I am sad that two work contracts will prevent me from attending on April 24. I'll be holding space for her and the Barbee family during that time, from Ohio. Two favorite memories have come to mind in recent days...Dennis and Kendal visited a few days after I brought home my tiny infant daughter. They were so tender with her and me - loving friends who shared our happiness. We all just stared at the baby in awe and grinned. My second memory is from the summer when I met D&K. We were at a weeks-long training program in Pittsburgh and all in the same cook group. One dinner, we made extra pancakes and started sending them frisbee-style through the window onto the building next door! :) That summer, I also learned lots of good recipes from Kendal, and still have two written in her handwriting. I made one on Easter to remember her. Sending lots of love to you all!
