Collective sigh of relief
Katie is off the ventilator and is breathing well. She is awake and communicating. The ICU doctor even said they want to get her out of ICU later today. She will still be inpatient, as they work to resolve the remaining blood clots. Then hopefully we can get back on track to have the surgery on her femur. Thank you everyone who has reached out, prayed, followed updates and donated.
We will update when we have more info.
I just know Katie was fighting all day yesterday. Her strength is remarkable.
