Good morning all,
The doctors met with Kate this morning and her daily radiation begins the week of 10/20.  It turns out that her original surgery went quite well and they got "clear margins" (aka they took out exactly what they wanted to take out).  That means that instead of the originally-planned four weeks of radiation, the doctors decided that Kate will do just two weeks of radiation!  
Thank you all for your support so far in this process!  Your meals and childcare have greatly helped her during this time of balancing her health, working, and caring for her family.
